Lower left corner of a dedication’s base found on the Acropolis. It was part of a rectangular plaque decorated on its outer face with an etched scene most likely of a painter’s workshop.

To the left of the scene a craftsman is depicted seated on a stool wearing a himation. He works bended over an object set in front of him on a workbench. To the scene’s right the lower part of a second craftsman’s body can be seen, depicted in a similar pose but on a larger scale. He is seated on a stool bended over his own work. The scene has an engraved frame on both sides and on the bottom and retains traces of red colour.
